Other Ways to Support
Get Involved
There are many ways to do your part to strengthen Community Tourism.
Whether you travel, share stories, raise awareness, or simply start conversations about a different way of doing tourism, every action helps communities create more opportunities through tourism.
No matter how you choose to get involved, you’re helping build a future where tourism works better for communities, travellers, and destinations alike.
FOLLOW AND STAY IN TOUCH
Community tourism is still new to many people. Following along and sharing what you learn is one of the simplest ways to help more people discover it.
Become an advocate.
Community Tourism grows when more people understand its potential. You can help by:
-Talking about Community Tourism with friends, colleagues, and your community
-Sharing Planeterra’s stories on social media, tagging us, and contributing to our blogs
-Introducing Community Tourism within your workplace, school, or organization
-Encouraging others to choose travel experiences that benefit local communities
Small conversations can inspire meaningful change.
