Below is a list of projects that have the ability to ship products directly to your home. Online orders are not just a great source of revenue for our partners, but it helps them to diversify their income. There’s no need to be on the road – from pillowcases to biodegradable soaps, you can give back to our projects from the comfort of your couch with the click of a button.

Sthree Craft Shop and Café Kandy, Sri Lanka

PENDUKA

Penduka is a women-owned and run business that employs local women that are living with disabilities, or suffered from chronic illnesses such as HIV. You can support this enterprise by buying some of their beautiful textiles, jewellery, and more.

UBUNTULIFE

UbuntuMade, a socially-conscious social enterprise which sells products at Cafe Ubuntu (the workshop is located on the same premises) provides support to women whose children are living with disabilities. Many of UbuntuLife’s products are sold in the United States, and their online store hosts tons of great buys, including tote bags, traditional beaded bracelets, and even something for our four-legged friends!

TRIBAL TEXTILES

Looking for handmade pillow cases, napkins, wall hangings, or up-cycled glass platters? Look no further than Tribal Textiles, Planeterra’s project partner in rural Zambia. This textile workshop reinvests 5% of each purchase back into the community, and various patterns also give back to wildlife conservation causes in the South Luangwa valley.

MI CAFECITO

Mi Cafecito is the town’s main cooperative, Coopesarapiquí brings together more than 200 small farmers that produce organic coffee from the four regions of San Carlos, Sarapiqui, Heredia and Alajuela. You can buy their keychains, mugs, and of course, coffee on their website.

NYAMIRAMBO WOMEN’S CENTER

The Nyamirambo Women’s Centre in Kigali, Rwanda not only hosts travellers for tours and lunches, employing women in the tourism sector, but also hosts community classes for literacy, computer skills, and handicraft making.Support the women of Nyamirambo by shopping clothing, bags, and other crafts at their online store.

LIFE MONTEVERDE

Life Monteverde was started by three farming families in 1990, and has grown into a union of 12 families dedicated to sustainable coffee production, agriculture and education on sustainability in Monteverde, Costa Rica. A Planeterra project partner since 2018, any coffee purchased from their online shop will benefit 130 families in the region.

SQUAMISH LIL’WAT CULTURAL CENTRE

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, located in Whistler, Canada is home to a training program that empowers Indigenous youth to conduct tours of the centre’s museum and grounds. The space is a celebration of the two Indigenous communities of the region, and teaches local and international visitors about the region’s history. Choose from clothing, water bottles, and other items depicting traditional Indigenous art, handicrafts and music on their online store.

ESENCIA ANDINA

Planeterra provided a grant to kickstart Esencia Andina, a women-owned and run business in Cuzco that produces biodegradable soaps and detergents, as well as natural products such as repellent, alcohol gel, shampoo, creams, lip moisturizer and massage oil. While they mainly source the Inca Trail travellers, you can also purchase their products from their online store.

OODLES OF NOODLES

If you’re a lover of Vietnamese food, look no further than STREETS International, our partner for the Oodles of Noodles tour in Vietnam. They sell their famous recipes in a cookbook which can be purchased online, as well as t-shirts and aprons. Items purchased will support STREETS’ extensive hospitality-training program that works with at-risk youth in Vietnam.

SOLHEIMAR ECOVILLAGE

Solheimar is a sustainable community and non-profit organization dedicated to assisting over 100 residents, mostly living with disabilities. Planeterra provided the non-profit with €10,000 to assist with the creation of a cafe. You can purchase decorative ceramics, Icelandic skincare products and coffee!

magdas HOTEL

magdas HOTEL is the first social business hotel in Austria, designed to provide opportunities for migrants that have arrived in Vienna as refugees. This hotel is a true community-powered initiative all hotel furnishings are donated, up-cycled or recycled. You can support the hotel by purchasing gift-certificates for your future stay below (vouchers will be emailed globally).  German and Austrian residents can purchase goods from their shop here.

MIGRANTOUR ROME

Viaggi Solidali is a social cooperative operating since 2004 that promotes responsible tourism. In 2010, they conceived and developed the Migrantour project in Turin, which has since extended to other cities. Migrantour Rome is part of Viaggi Solidali. Check out their shop that helps support their partners for t-shirts, mugs, bags.

Osmose Tone Sap

Osmose Tone Sap is a community tourism enterprise that works to foster and support harmonious relations between people and nature in the floating villages of the Prek Toal Ramsar, also known as the Tonle Sap UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. You can purchase rugs, bags, baskets, and more made of water hyacinth, an invasive aquatic plant. Through your purchases you are supporting the community and the environment!

Indigenous Kokoda Adventures

100% local and ethically farmed and produced, KOKODA LUTI organic coffee represents the heart and soul of Kokoda – their children. Net proceeds from purchases help children in the villages along the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea with their education beyond the primary level through the IKA Foundation. Their coffee is grown in the villages of the Owen Stanley Range by the coffee farmers in the Kokoda region and is full-bodied and rich in flavour.

Tours & Arts Solutions

Tours and Arts Solutions’ mission is to provide creative and innovative community-based tourism and handicraft experiences for travelers in Ghana. They have identified 50 craft creators in their community, including men and women, whom they have trained in quality product development, customer service and business management.

LOVE, NOMAD RING

The Love, Nomad ring is a map of the world in the form of a ring. This ring comes in either solid Sterling Silver, solid 14K gold or solid 18K gold. A portion of every ring sold goes towards Planeterra.

TRAVEL LIGHT- REGULAR PEOPLE GO ON ADVENTURES TOO

This book explores the lighter side of travel with doses of humour, adventure, and personal transformation. Vacations need not be exclusive to the wealthy; regular people go on adventures too.  A portion from every book sold is donated to Planeterra.

NATIONAL PARK SERIES

Original paintings of national parks in the United States with a portion of each sold being donated to the Planeterra Foundation.
